People often ask how I got started in trading — and why I spend so much of my time teaching others. The answer is simple: trading changed my life, and I believe far more people could change theirs if they were given the right education, guidance, and support.
My journey began shortly after COVID, when I opened an account with a broker to make small investments. Like most beginners, I assumed investing was simple — buy a stock, wait for it to go up. It didn't take long to realize the markets were far deeper than that. If I wanted to invest intelligently, I had to understand how markets actually work: why price moves, and how to recognize real value instead of overpaying for hype.
So I committed to learning. I joined a mentorship group that taught both investing and trading, and I threw myself into it completely — every video call, every bootcamp, every homework assignment, countless hours of study. My goal wasn't just to learn how to trade. It was to learn the language of the markets.
As my understanding grew, I started trading higher timeframes using support, resistance, and trend analysis. The trades worked, but I was waiting weeks for modest returns. Profitable, yes — but I knew I needed a sharper, more efficient approach to build real consistency.
That search led me to Fair Value Gaps, and it changed how I saw price entirely. Combining FVGs with support and resistance, I began reading the chart from a completely different perspective. Curiosity turned into obsession — with market structure, liquidity, and how institutions really move price.
Success didn't come quickly. I lost multiple accounts along the way. But every loss carried a lesson, and every setback was tuition toward mastering the craft. Most traders treat failure as a reason to quit; I treated it as part of the cost of getting good. There were moments of doubt and frustration, but I kept climbing — one step at a time, without looking down.
Eventually, that persistence paid off. Through discipline and constant refinement, I grew a $500 account into nearly $50,000. But the money was never the real reward. The real reward was the confidence of knowing I'd built a repeatable skill — one I could apply again and again.
One lesson from an early mentor has stayed with me through all of it:
"Each candle tells a story."
It sounded simple at first. Over time, it became the foundation of everything I do. That single idea led me to develop what I call the Key Candle Method — a framework for reading the specific candles that reveal market intent and set up high-probability trades. That same key candle sits at the heart of the CISD strategy I teach today: the moment the market shows its hand, if you have the patience to wait for it. The two work hand in hand — the Key Candle Method trains your eye to see the signal, and CISD puts it into a complete, repeatable process. The beauty of it is its versatility — it works across timeframes and markets, so every trader can adapt it to their own style while keeping execution consistent.
As my results improved and payouts became more frequent, one truth became impossible to ignore: profitability isn't really about strategy. Strategy is the easy part. The hard part is discipline.
Most traders spend years chasing the perfect setup, convinced the next indicator or system will fix everything. The truth is, most already have what they need. What they're missing is the discipline to follow their own rules. A strategy that wins 80% of the time still fails in the hands of a trader without patience, risk management, and emotional control.
That's exactly why I mentor.
My goal has never been to sell a course or rent out my time. It's to educate. Along the way I've met so many people with the talent and drive to succeed, who simply never had the tools, structure, or support to get there. Most people are never taught how money works — so they spend years working hard without ever learning to make it work for them.
I genuinely believe that if trading and financial literacy were taught in schools, we'd see far more people building real opportunity for themselves and their families. Education builds confidence, confidence drives action, and action creates results.
So my aim isn't to build followers — it's to build independent traders who think for themselves, manage risk responsibly, and approach the markets with confidence. I want my students to skip the mistakes I made, shorten their learning curve, and walk away with a skill that serves them for life.
Trading has given me far more than money. It's given me discipline, patience, resilience, and self-belief — the same things I work to pass on to everyone who joins the community.
The markets will always test you. But with the right education, mindset, and support, success becomes a matter of preparation and persistence — not luck.
If my journey proves anything, it's this: ordinary people are capable of extraordinary things when they commit to learning, stay disciplined, and refuse to quit.
Patience pays.
